about me
Hello! I’m Brandon Kisker, and I like to consider myself a raconteur. I love telling stories. I love inspiring positivity in this world; and I love connecting brands to their loyal following.
But I’m also a jack-of-all-trades. I have skills that range across the marketing and content worlds including graphic design, video & audio production, web design and management, photography, social media, seo, event planning, broadcasting and so much more!
Away from work, I’m a passionate traveler, having been to six foreign countries and 26 states in the United States, I love experiencing life as a local. I’ve lived in Ohio, New York, Florida and California in the US and have also lived in Munich, Germany, which would also be my favorite destination to travel to in the world.
In fact, my wife Rachel and I were married in lederhosen and dirndl, the traditional dress of Bavarians, and honeymooned in Munich.

As a reporter at the Stockton Record and beat writer for the Stockton Heat hockey team, I have had the privilege of working with Brandon Kisker for the past five years. Brandon is among the most professional, news savvy and energetic media relations representatives I have ever dealt with. He takes care of media requests promptly, arranges interviews and works as a liaison between the media and team management. He handles high pressure situations with a calm, professional demeanor, and tries to make your job easier. As a media person, you can’t ask for more than that.

Thank you for making my day every time I would listen to one of your broadcasts. Hockey is definitely more than just a sport to me, and everyday when there was a Stockton game happening I would look forward to listening to it! Honestly, you make the broadcasts so exciting, and I love it. I started to follow the Stockton Heat when my favourite player Mason Raymond got sent down, and ever since I listened to my first game I was hooked! I remember the first Heat game I ever listened to, it was Hunter Shinkaruk’s first game with the Heat and it was on Sportsnet 960 in Calgary and I remember my dad saying that it was too loud and way too exciting, but that is exactly what I liked about it. Little did he know that he would have to be listening to it a year later and enjoying your broadcasts. The Heat broadcasts make my day. Thank you for that!
